Finding your own genuine path and embracing your true self, might take a while. Surely it can also take a bit longer if for many reasons, you unconsciously refuse and postpone it. Because you simply are not ready for this big change that could turn your life upside down. Because leaving your safe comfort zone is not yet an option you are considering. Because you are waiting for the perfect timing to come to reveal who you truly are to the world. Without any fear of being judged. Stronger than ever, following your gut and your soul towards full blossoming, personal and professional. Making that kind of big decision takes a lot of courage and is often predated by years of struggle and anxiety. It is almost like getting off a train you were cozily on board for a while and suddenly jumping on another and embarking on a new unexpected journey. That is the feeling. It can be scary. Accepting and navigating this brand new reality of yours can be hard, but it is always worth it if it brings you to the person you were meant to be from the beginning.
After having built a rewarding, glamorous and successful career as an entrepreneur, founder, and creative director of her eponymous niche jewelry label established in Mexico in 2014, born and raised in the metropolis of Milan, Italian designer Cristina Ramella has recently embarked on a new journey. As the phoenix rising from the ashes, after many years of being overwhelmed, deep reflection and self-exploration, and a point break, Cristina has finally found the courage to let this past well-spent life of hers go: with conviction, without any regret, but a lot of gratitude. Proud of what she has achieved so far. In the end, the brand's original essence was gone, and unfortunately, it was more about financial and commercial strategies, than about creativity and design. It was not fun anymore behind the scenes.
The time has come to fully embrace her true path, proudly accept her new identity, and simply be Cristina, a spiritual, genuine and caring human being passionate about human connections. Cristina eventually turned the over sensitivity and hyper-empathy, a weakness she suffered from her entire life, into something kind of magical, a big strength, a new superpower that has opened her an even brighter future, more aligned with the committed and spiritual woman she has always been.
This new chapter did not come out of the blue. It took her several years of intense study and training to be completely ready and well-prepared to practise. In addition to her studying and practicing Meditation since age 18, Cristina followed the precious teachings of Spiritual Guide, Healer, and Creative Visionary Ron Young and his renowned Healing Wisdom School. And then got certified in “International Spiritual Constellations”.
Meditude is a useful and powerful tool, based on the mindful practice of the perceptive meditation, that she has recently created to be able to fully mentor, guide and support other human beings from all over the world, especially women, in need. An activity that is bringing her intense joy, satisfaction and commitment. A mutual exchange that gratifies her. She is spreading positive vibes and light into the world. Thanks to her skills and a humble attitude, she is now able to teach other people how to listen to their heart, feel the present moment, unblock themselves, manage their feelings and emotions, and find their own path as she did. She is delighted and honored to accompany them individually or in group sessions in their quest towards a blossomed spiritual, personal and professional life.
"Behind Meditude there is my story, but above all, I put my soul into it. This project came from my wish to share what has been and still is for me, a journey of deep transformation. Meditude isn’t just a meditation practice: it’s an invitation to live from your heart and discover the wisdom that already exists within us. Meditude is a safe and protected space for deep meditation, awareness, and Spiritual Constellations. It started from the shift from transcendental meditation to heart-centered meditation". she tells.
As you can well imagine, naturally, this massive life change did not happen overnight. It is indeed the result of a series of events and one in particular: in 2020 when the pandemic of covid-19 just started, the unexpected, quick and rough return in Italy with her husband and their two children. Leaving a happy and rewarding personal and professional life built in Mexico was not easy, but necessary at that moment. After having spent the whole lockdown sheltering in a house in the woods, in 2021, the family moved to Milan, Cristina's hometown. After being away for so long, starting from scratch with her family in this big city- too grey and gloomy to her taste-, that she admits candidly to have never fit in, was at first kind of traumatic.
Despite all the fears she had as every young woman with no experience abroad, Cristina has always deeply felt the need to see the world, travel and discover new cultures. Making a life and a career in Milan was never part of her plans. And she did it. After Sydney where she flew to take part in an International student exchange, life brought her back to Italy in the Genova's district of Vesima for a six-month internship at Renzo Piano's studio where she found the love of her life. A beautiful and romantic encounter that would allow her to fall in love with Mexico, a charismatic country where she got married, started a family, became a mother and a successful founder. A special place in her heart where she spent many years in happiness.
A charming country that she had to leave in 2011 for a 2-year break in New-York where her husband won a scholarship for a Master at the prestigious Columbia University. If navigating motherhood with a small baby in the Big Apple was quite challenging and surely required lots of sacrifices, as a very open-minded person who is used to adjusting quick and well, Cristina wanted to make the most of this American experience and explored which opportunities it could offer to her.
As she was looking for a new challenge, one day, her husband had the brilliant idea of suggesting her to attend a school of jewelry. Even though she was not used to wearing jewels, she absolutely loved the idea and wanted to give it a shot. So she studied the foundations of high jewelry at the prestigious Kristin Hanson School of Jewelry Design.
As a trained designer, she had always kept alive the dream to establish a business on her own. Soon or later. While taking care of her kids, in 2014, Cristina created a 3D prototype that will change her life and boost her career as an entrepreneur and jewel designer. She posted a picture of her mother wearing it on social media and was immediately noticed by a young Italian fashion blogger called Chiara Ferragni who asked for the jewel to be sent to her to showcase it in one post. Overnight, unexpectedly something big happened. People were looking to buy the piece. Cristina was forced to react quickly, establish the brand and organize the local and artisanal production. During the following decade, the business that started small, flourished and Cristina became a renowned talented designer regularly featured in the press. This was a dream come true, a great achievement. A beautiful memory she will cherish forever. A chapter closed. Because with philosophy, we all have to accept that all good things must come to an end.
In this current moment of her life, in addition to Meditude, Cristina is also very grateful for La Volpara, a little real-estate gem close to her heart that came into her family's life at the right moment. Located only one hour away from Milan, nestled in the heart of Oltrepo Pavese and surrounded by the hills of Moscato, the property, bought in March 2026 after two long years of search, is a safe haven for the family. Cristina immediately fell in love with it at first sight as she felt it was a regenerative land. La Volpara is a peaceful gateway where the family enjoy slow living in the Nature whenever they want and spend quality time together gardening. A family private residence with a welcoming guest house. Since last May, it has indeed welcomed for short stays a few lucky guests in need of quiet, privacy and all the modern amenities.
Last but not least, it is also the perfect location to organize small yoga or meditation retreats (max. 6 persons) planned with Meditude. As a proud landlady, Cristina wants to keep it casual and cozy in order that all the participants could feel comfortable eating at the same table together in total conviviality. This is the slow hospitality that she supports and believes in. She wants guests to feel happy and relaxed, surrounded by Mother Earth's Beauty as she is everytime she stays there. She wants to offer them a unique experience that can help them feel better.
Cristina is a happy and grateful human being. Putting herself at the service of others is the most genuine way to give back and make a difference.
