Franziska Heydler

Germany

A bit of lightness in this world of heavies. Franziska Heydler is a German illustrator and painter based in Munich. She is a genuine artist. Her minimalistic fashion and lifestyle artworks are one-of-a-kind. It's love at first sight assured, trust me. She grew up with a paintbrush in her hand and painted on every possible free space she was able to find. Painting has been a faithful companion throughout her life. She needs it. She loves it. As well as she loves Italy where she spent every summer holiday with her family since she was 8 years old. She has literally felt in love with the people, the culture, the landscapes, the food. No surprise then if most of her artworks are spreading the Italian Dolce far niente Vibes. We can almost smell the perfume of a cappuccino or of juicy Almafi Coast lemons. Simple and inconspicuous little things, that make life beautiful, inspire her: being outside, vacationing in the sun or having an aperitivo with friends. She turns all this everyday life's joy into beautiful and touchy personal depictions. Portraits or Still Life. Lemons are her favorite ones. "They just always look great! she said. Take a deep breath, relax and Enjoy!!!
