Located in Talloires on the French Lake of Annecy and owned by the Michelin-starred chef Jean Sulpice and his wife Magali since 2016, after 4 generations of members of the Bise Family, the Auberge du Père Bise has become a renowned  5-Star hotel (Relais & Châteaux) with a gourmet restaurant and a spa. François, called "Père" Bise, founder in 1903, together with his wife Marie of a little pub in a chalet, would be surely happy by the amazing new renovation of his property by French Interior Designer Émilie Bonaventure. Graduated in Art History at the Ecole du Louvre and founder of the Parisian Architecture and Interior agency Be Attitude, she has done a great job as usual.  The 1903 restaurant and the rooms and suites (23) are a cozy mix-and-match of antique, modern and contemporary. She has chosen natural materials- such as terracotta, warm walnut, raffia, lime and earthenware- and custom-designed furniture, antique objects and textiles made by Pierre Frey. The new atmosphere is luminous and full of freshness. It is a real golden hour decor with an incredible view on the lake. The perfect gateway to relax and delight one's palate in a stunning and sophisticated location.
