Coco Hotel

Copenhagen

Denmark

Sustainability is one of our most important challenges for the future. It is exactly the purpose of Coco hotel, the 4* beautiful, affordable and sustainable boutique hotel located at Vesterbrogade,41 in the heart of Copenhagen and opened in 2021 after a full and stylish renovation. The property, acquired in 2018, belongs to the  Copenhagen Food Collective Cofocoa growing community since 2004 which gathers about the love of the good meal and whose signature is quality, style and sustainability approach. Coco hotel stands out of the crowd. It is a Parisian style hotel curated with a Copenhagen sense of space and time. The interior is a bespoke mix between the modern and classicvintage and new. 88 rooms on five floors. A family suite,  an attic ping-pong room and a serene green courtyard. The intention was to create an atmosphere very much like a curated Parisian apartment where every design is chosen with love, not as a unified concept. We wanted to create a cozy hotel with a natural personality where sustainability is a focus, and, of course, at a price range that is reasonable. We see a strong synergy between our restaurants and the hotel, and we believe that by opening it, we can give people an even better experience when they visit Copenhagen."says Christian LytjeCofoco's CEOThe interior design has been curated by Tonen Agency,  founded by Malene Bech-Pedersen and Mette Bonavent. The entire building has been designed to be as sustainable as possible: it  has been renovated with energy and water saving solutions and, like all the Cofoco's restaurants, it is covered by sustainable energy from Cofoco's own solar park in Nees, North West JutlandCafé Coco primarily serves organic products; no plastic bottles are available in the minibar. All towels and bed linens are made from organic cotton. As the proud owners want to make a positive difference in the world, they also have decided to plant fruit trees on behalf of their guests in vulnerable areas of Tanzania and Mexico for the benefit of the climate, the environment and the local community. Please know that if you book a room through the website, the hotel will donate a tree on your behalf. This way, your stay will be CO2 neutral as a tree absorbs around 1 ton of CO2 during its lifetime. You also can make a difference. Let's do it!
