Colombe Studio

Warsaw

Poland

Renovation is an Art. Marta Chrapka, Polish Interior Designer and founder, in 2013, of the  Warsaw-based Colombe Studio, is a true talented Artist. She is the perfect one to call to turn a slightly dated appartment into a beautiful, cozy, functional and modern home sweet home. The work she has done, together with her team, in 2020 on a 5 th floor appartment of a Tenement House of 1913- marked by Modernism with elements of the Secession- located in the heart of Warsaw, is simply amazing. In addition to the great square footage (150 m2), the latter already enjoyed a beautiful light as well as a beautiful view of the Warsaw University of Technology from the windows. As requested by the owners, the Colombe Studio has created a space for 2 people with 2 offices to work,  a bedroom with a wardrobe and 2 bathrooms." In this project, exceptionally, we did not significantly change the functional layout, we focused on the proportions of the walls by adding stucco and a very large number of carpentry structures. Color accents appear mainly in fabrics. The owners wanted the interior to be interesting but not overwhelming and elegant, consistent with the architecture of the building. We combined furniture of our design and classics of global brands." explained Marta. The fully renovated kitchen, connected with a living room, is definitely the greatest decoration. The owners dared to use a hand-painted Degournay's  tapete with the motif of Korean mountains. Who would not dream to have a kitchen like this one? #MCCOT loves it! And you?
