'An illustration is not a photograph. It is not a one-to-one mapping. Rather, an illustration is an illusion, a dream, a wish... the icing on the cake of an event.' This is how Marta S., a Polish self-taught and talented Artist, Fashion illustrator and painter based in Bavaria, uses to describe her beloved passion for drawing. A passion she fell in love with as a child and she finally rediscovered, as an adult, through numerous detours and encounters with inspiring women. A few years ago, Marta has indeed found the courage to follow her heart and start from scratch this new artistic and successful adventure. Because life is only once and people have to make the most of it to deserve to be happy. Since she discovered her priceless gift for illustration, she has never stopped being creative in the cozyness and peace of her own atelier. And it paid off. Her colorful, joyful, fashionista and one-of-a-kind acrylic paintings, which stand out from the crowd, were quickly noticed: she was asked to work on commission for prestigious International brands as Miu Miu, Hugo Boss, Wempe, Breuninger, Westwing or private clients in beautiful locations in the occasion  of glam events (ex: parties, weddings). By the way, she remembered well the special one she attended as a lucky arty guest at the Parisian and legendary hotel Ritz. It was quite an honour to perform in the last home of Mademoiselle Coco Chanel.  Performing live is unique. It is a short (it lasts on average 5-10 minutes for each sketch), exciting and gratifying experience, she appreciates more and more. It offers her the opportunity of creating unforgettable memories and building a human bond with the people she met and captured through her bespoke illustrations. As a huge Fashion lover and active member of the International Fashionista community, the happy and accomplished female artist is now focused on strengthening her partnerships with renowned fashion brands and Maison. " Today I rejoice in being an inspiration to others, a kind of guide that leads us to our own heart. The illustration pays homage to femininity and life." she proudly explained. Her eye for beautiful details and the way she captures the subtle elegance of the moment in a few spontaneous and well-placed strokes is resolutely unique. It's hard to remain insensitive, isn't it?
