Younicube

Vicenza

Nowadays more and more people are looking forward to escaping from chaotic, noisy and polluted cities. Some are even contemplating the idea of moving permanently to the peaceful and green countryside to enjoy a slow living. In 2018, as she visited her beloved island Sicily for a holiday, Vicenza-based Italian lawyer, Paola Stella fell in love with the Favignana's traditional tiny and cubic fisherman's house, nestled into nature just in front of the seaShe suddenly realized that she would have loved to live there. And moreover, she would love to share this beautiful experience with others. That is why, she started to work together with Italian architect Massimo Gnocchi co-founder of The Mountain Refuge, and finally came up with the perfect solution for the ones who want to experience a break off the grid. They designed the innovative and sustainable cubic tiny (18 square meters) mobile home called Younicube, a mix of YOU, UNIQUE and CUBE. A  customizable, functional, eco-friendly, and cozy  "home sweet home" away from home on-wheels, which runs on solar power and can be used all year long everywhere (mountains, sea, lake..). "I had a very clear idea in mind of what I wanted to design: a home mainly built in natural materials equipped with large windows, which allows the Nature and the light to enter. In order that people can feel part of the  surrounding environment. I've chosen to have a big window near to the bed. An architectural element, which makes our brand recognizable and relates to the idea of the cube, which inspires me from the beginning. " explained us Paola. A new generation of virtuous homes made for a committed-to-the-environment clientèle was born. For people who have chosen slow tourism and want to reconnect with Mother Nature and embrace a genuine and pure living. The first Younicube has been positioned this summer in Tuscany on the estate of the Villas of Badia di Morrona located in Terricciola near to Pisa. Paola is running the company with her sister Giulia, who is a communication specialist and her husband Marco Vidale, who has a background in the area of hospitality and agriculture. The team is now looking for investors, who share the same values and are ready to support them in this amazing new entrepreneurial journey and invest in the business. We wish to see soon more Younicubes out there.
