FRANZEN & CASA
Celerina
Switzerland
You may know that Lisa Franzen is a talented artist represented by Galerie Philia and Free Man Gallery. But did you know that the Zurich-based 34-year-old Italian-Russian happy mum of two, is also a talented and successful interior designer, new and proud founder and CEO of the FRANZEN & CASA, a promising niche full-service and multidisciplinary interior design and architectural studio established in March 2021? After graduating from the Istituto Marangoni in London in
2012 and then finalizing her study in Milan at the Politecnico university with a specialization in public and commercial spaces, Lisa has also launched her first collectible furniture in 2022. As a committed aesthete who is daily inspired by the breathtaking beauty of Mother Nature, the poliedrical artist and interior designer loves to create a contemporary, minimalist, elegant and timeless design. Prioritizing the essential and exalting raw natural materials and the art of craftsmanship. “I have a passion for pure lines, always accompanied by a great attention to the finest details. I like to combine different types of materials together, preferring natural materials such as wood, stone, and metal. Shapes and lines always interact with each other." she explains. Located close to St. Moritz, in the village of Celerina, the cozy and welcoming two-floor 'Chesa Zigna' had been fully renovated and refurbished in the perfect style of FRANZEN&CASA. As ambassador of a committed-to-the-environment, durable, minimal and pure luxury, Lisa and her skilled team have indeed chosen to mix-and-match old and modern and natural wood and stones in Porfido Vallecamonica to design a bespoke contemporary and high-tech swiss home-sweet-home. In the respect of the one-of-a-kind architectural style of the old building, the original old wooden beams of the roof had been cleaned and restored. Lucky owners, aren't they?
