This is what happened to former make-up artist in Paris Caroline Picard and her business partner and co-founder, cosmetic formulator Amandine Colle. Epicurean, the two Cévennes-born thirty-year-old women, who share the same life core values- authenticity, honesty, simplicity and humility- and lifestyle, established in 2016 the Alès-based ethical plant-based- exclusively locally sourced- and eco-conscious skincare brand BELESA, made in Cévennes. A beautiful and useful way to pay a sincere tribute to their beloved and protected territory, the Cévennes National Park -which is listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site- and use its natural and precious treasures. As they believe in an essential, clean, effective and committed-to-the-environment beauty, they have made the right choice to accept no compromise on the quality. Their formulas are the most genuine and natural possible. They only use the best local natural ingredients provided by a network of trusted eco-friendly local producers who also care for their territory and our Mother Earth. Human beings who love to enjoy a simple life and its little things. As Caroline and Amandine who love spending time with their beloved ones, hiking in the woods, eating good food, laughing- a lot-.
