For Dr. Nini Nielson, a trained hair and makeup artist with a Ph.D. on skin health and quality obtained at the University of Hamburg and Dr. Julia Mader a skilled medical cosmetician with a Ph.D. in virology, skin health is a very serious matter.

“For us, modern skincare means reconnecting with one’s inner self through fewer products but with deeper impact — products that are as natural as possible, and that have soul as well as effectiveness,” says Dr Nini Nielson. “Our skin is different every day; it shifts with our hormones, our environment, our emotions, and the quiet rhythms of time. After operating a joint consulting agency for cosmetics companies since 2019, the two Hamburg-based skin-experts have now turned themselves in committed and passionate co-founders on a mission.

As a natural next step in their already successful career, Nini and Julia have made the bold decision to take advantage of their many years of research and use their precious knowledge and their unique expertise gained on the field.

They have embarked on a new professional journey on their own and established SKŌUD Skin Health that stands for Skincare Knowledge of Unique Definition.
