Such are the collections designed by Anne-Dorthe Larsen, the Founder and Creative Director of the successful and loved Copenhagen-based label Lovechild 1979, together with her feminine design team and Laura Meldal Nørgaard, the new Head Designer in charge since 2020. Grown up in the countryside, in North Jutland, Anne-Dorthe has started her career in the fashion industry in 2007 at 27 years old as co-owner of the exclusive multi-brand Nué and as co-founder of the fashion brand Nué Notes. A few years later, she has founded Lovechild 1979. After being put under pression for many years before succeeding and making a name thank to hard work, the danish designer has slowed down and is now a committed and proud Ambassador of Slow Fashion. Who only follows her istinct and her heart to create pieces that transcend seasons and flow with each woman's personal style. Through her second brand, born a decade ago, she dresses working and independant modern women like herself. She designs sophisticated, timeless, long-lasting, feminine grounded by masculine, functional and tailored garments. For every day. Every mood. Every occasion. Lovechild 1979 is celebrating a modern Scandinavian-Inspired Feminity. And we love it.
