Kids want to have fun. To feel free and comfortable when they move and play around. And above all, they want to look cool like the big ones. For them, British fashion designer Susan Cole has founded the Children's (from 2-13 years) clothing brand Main Story- because they are the Main Story - in 2017. In partnership with talented European designers, the founder & director and her team conceive timeless, comfy and cool unisex responsible clothings inspired by the world of Art & Design. The SS 2022 (the 10th one) collection called 'Off in Pursuit' celebrates a nostalgic English summer road trip to the Coast and the spirited work of Sister Corita Kent, an artist of compassion and humour whose aesthetically joyful play with scale where words become pictures, surroundings become patterns. True to their sustainable approach, as usual, this season, all the pieces are produced in Portugal using organic cotton fabric and yarns. And, as proudly ambassadors of virtuous slow fashion, the Main Story's crew hope that after they no longer fit, all their clothings and accessories will pass on to be worn some more.
