Not all the hotels have a beautiful story behind the scenes. Italian Hotel Il Pellicano has definitively one. The latter indeed used to be the private villa of the Grahams, an American-English couple composed by Patsy Daszel, an American socialite and her beloved Beau, a British aviator called Michael Graham. They spent quality time on the property with lots of their friends and some of their guests were often glamorous Hollywood's celebrities. Their home quickly become one of the most Italian exclusive places to have fun. Amazed by this little paradise on earth with an amazing view of the bay, located in Southern Tuscany in Porte Ercole in Monte Argentario, renowned Italian Entrepreneur Roberto Sciò decided to buy it in 1979. He then turned it into a one-of-a-kind 5-Star hotel, which now belongs to the Pellicano Hotels Group, together with La Posta Vecchia and Mezza Torre Hotel. Opened, every year, from April to October, this little mediterranean palace with a charming retro style is the perfect getaway to stay for a weekend or a few days and experience a kind of Tuscan 'Dolce Vita' by the sea. Marie-Louise, the daughter of the owner and CEO of the group, is Landlady and Creative Director. She loves Il Pellicano like her own home sweet home.
