Some entrepreneurial success stories happened purely by chance. Sometimes thanks to a lucky meeting. In 1996, Jean-Jacques Berger, French Entrepreneur and founder of the company D’A NOSTE, the leading French producer of maritime pine seed, met Professor Robert Wolff, a scientist at Bordeaux’s Fats and Oils Institute and assistant professor at University of Bordeaux. The latter was the first one to told him that he clearly had a marvel in his hands. The biological restructuring, soothing and anti-wrinkle properties and benefits of Maritime pine seed oil®, which is one of the richest plant-based oils, are indeed exceptional: It contents delta 5 fatty acids, vitamin E and polyphenols and is able to nourish and regenerate the skin, enabling it to return to its original beauty. After a decade of research and discoveries, Mr Berger finally patented the extraction and applications of this natural revolutionary seed oil. In 2012, together with his daughter Marina, as his co-founder, he founded the French organic, effective and natural skincare brand OCÉOPIN. Since then, the family business is flourishing in the respect of the environment. Born and based on the Cap Ferret peninsula, an uncontaminated natural reserve, OCÉOPIN is proud to be a committed green brand. All the products whose ingredients (ex: marram grass, sea holly, immortelle, gorse) are sourced in the vegetation and plants that grow along the Atlantic coast, are certified organic. The founders have chosen to work in a sustainable and relatively unmechanised cropping system to insure a responsible production and guarantee top quality and traceability, handing down consistent forestry techniques, especially the same old local traditions who deserve to be preserved from generation to generation. L’Huile de Graines de Pin Maritime® is one of the highlights of the product range. Since 2021, the French Journalist and television host Carole Tolila, who is a supporter of Slow and Clean beauty, is the new face of the brand. In occasion of a shooting located on the production site, the brand has recently collaborated with the French clothing brand Graine which shares the same virtuous values.
