René Storck

Frankfurt am Main

Germany

If the French and worldwide well-known term Haute Couture (which means ‘high sewing’ or ‘high dressmaking’), [ˌoːt kuˈtyʁ]) originally referred to Englishman Charles Frederick Worth's work produced in Paris in the mid-19th century and then esclusively to French fashion, some German fashion designers go on celebrating with passion its unique cutting techniques. René Storck, the 54-year-old founder of the eponymous luxury Maison with a focus of  sustainability and based in Frankfurt am Main since 2003, is one of them. Committed and proud ambassador of slow Fashion since the beginning,  René, who has become one of the leading German Fashion Designers, is taking his time to create beautiful and one-ok-a-kind collections inspired by The Bauhaus, the legendary German Industrial Design. Finest qualities and exceptional execution are indeed his priorities.  All the materials he chooses, as Cashmere, Wool or Cotton (for outdoor a cotton that is made waterproof without chemicals) are natural. Every single piece is proudly manufactured in Germany, close to the Frankfurt's headquarter with the exception of knitwear, that comes from Italy. In Germany, René is a pioneer. He is the first ever German Fashion Designer who cared about Sustainability in Fashion. Thanks to his committment, in last July, he was invited by the German Fashion Council and the  City of Frankfurt  to present his Resort 2023 collection during the Frankfurt Fashion Week. The show took place in the Stock Market Frankfurt. The whole collection is exclusively available at the store, property of the Maison located in  Oeder Weg 38. The website René Storck will be back online in December. René's creations for women and men are definitevely an ode to a sustainable, minimalist and timeless elegance. The one #MCCOT loves and supports.
