As Marcel Proust, French Author of the popular novel 'Swann in Love'  once said: Perfume is that last and best reserve of the past, the one which, when all our tears have run dry, can make us cry again!”, the latter indeed plays a great role in our everyday life as a mood enhancer and a memory trigger. A fragrance can be pleasant but also powerful. Inspired by Nature. Established in february 2024, the young Danish perfume brand FLORA DANICA Parfums,  was born as a contemporary beautiful tribute to the  iconic and original Flora Danica botanical encyclopaedia, commissioned by King Frederik V of Denmark in 1752, to spread knowledge of the diverse flowers and plants that thrived across his kingdom. The first book was published in 1761 and it took the reign of 6 kings over 120 years to complete this ambitious task, culminating in over 3200 color drawings, printed in 54 books. Skilled and renowned Grasse-born French master perfumers Olivier Cresp- celebrated as one of the greatest perfumers of his generation-and Nathalie Lorson- one of the most prolific and artistic perfumers in the world. A true pioneer and one of the few women who attended the prestigious Roure Bertrand Dupont Perfumery School- together with Turkish senior perfumer Ilias Ermenidis, have created  four unique and delicate unisex fragrances (called 1761, Flower Muse, Soul Garden and Amber Echo). A premium collection, created in Denmark and made in France, that reflects modern Danish values and the extraordinary diversity of Nature. The trio has selected precious essences such as Orris, Cardamon, Neroli, Vetiver or Oakmoss to sit at the heart of each perfume and embellished these with high quality ingredients, to give multi-faceted, distinctive, and timeless olfactive experiences. Particular attention has been paid to ensure that the perfumes are vegan and composed with up to 92% ingredients of natural origin. An ode to Slow, timeless and natural perfume, result of simple compositions and profiles that emphasize quality and sophisticated taste. Sophia Roe and Count Nikolai de Monpezat are the exceptional faces who have been chosen to gracefully  embody the spirit of the Maison.
