A huge fully-renovated wooden house built in 1904, situated a few minutes' walk from Hornbæk's sandy beach, main street and harbour. A beautiful property by the sea, owned by lucky Lennart and Sus Lajboschitz, turned into the cozy 51-room Hotel Hornbækhus in 2018. An establishment open all year long- every day from 8 am to 10 pm- whose main purpose is to gather each of its guests. The ones that stay overnight but, also the locals who attend the 7-pm communal dinner by the long wood tables. At Hotel Hornbækhus, conviviality is indeed what really matters. The hotel has a small library and a fireplace with cozy areas where you will be able to enjoy a family game, sip a cup of tea or coffee, or read a book. If the weather is fine, you will stay outdoors, and enjoy the natural beauty and peace of the hotel's large garden and its old trees, relax and breath fresh sea air. In summer, social classes as such as yoga activities and creative workshops take place in the garden. In every season, you can also enjoy a simple walk by the sea. The area is known for its coastline and natural areas such as Hornbæk Plantation and the protected heathland landscape 'Russia'. The occasion to discover Villa Strand, the little sister of Hornbækhus located on the sand dunes. The white villa houses 15 rooms with baths and has direct access to the beach from the garden.
