Feelum

Quarrata

Italy

At 25 years old, lots of people are usually and unfortunately still struggling to find their own path. Becoming an adult and entering the working world is indeed often very difficult. A real assault course for some less fortunate. At the contrary, for young Italian female entrepreneur Martina Giovannelli, everything went quite naturally. After starting to study architecture at the university, she had to listen to the entrepreneurship gene she inherited and went back to her roots. She quickly and formally entered, as partner and proud member of the third generation, The David Home srl, the successful home textile family company based in the Tuscan city of Quarrata and established 40 years ago by her grandparents and run since by her father. Since day one, as passionate, ambitious and determined young woman, she has had in mind to innovate and create something from scratch. As her grandparents or her father, who are inspirational role models for her since she was a little child, did. Working for the company is not enough. Grateful for the beautiful and priceless legacy she inherited, Martina had her own dream to achieve: launching her own brand. And she did it. Her 'Made in Italy' contemporary, design, premium and eco-friendly home textile and loungewear called Feelum Home Linen has been recently launched. Even though she is still very young, the truth is that she has already a proven experience in the home textile market in which she literally grew up. As a teenager she remembers enjoying attending the trade shows with her father and working on the company's stand. She surely knows for many years how the business works and how to build customer loyalty. Perfect ambassador of the Generation Z, which is bold and convinced that 'if you want to do it right, then do it yourself', Martina is not afraid to aim high. Her father trusted her and gave her a blank cheque the day she decided to go for it. Hard worker and perfectionist, Martina supervises and takes care of all the production steps: from the fancy name Feelum she has chosen- a mix of feeling and yarn-  to the logo she has personally designed. From the meticulous choice of the fabrics: exclusively sophisticated, premium, natural, sustainable, timeless. And able to enhance the feeling of well-being which is at the center of her priorities. Every single garment-dyed piece of the range is manufactured in Quarrata within the workshop of the family company by a trustful and experienced  team with dedication and a unique artisanal know-how. What concerns the color palette, some shades have been especially created by the founder herself.  Essential luxury is what better defines Feelum's original style. Supported by all her family, Martina is writing a new exciting chapter of the family business. Feelum was designed by a young woman for a target of young people. To make them feel good in their home sweet home. As becoming an architect was apparently not her destiny, however, Martina is not giving up her long-lasting passion for this field and is looking forward to collaborating with architectural firms in the future.
