In life, beautiful and unexpected ideas can come to you, by chance, whenever and anywhere. Even on the beach during a sunny and relaxing afternoon. In 2018, Neapolitan Daniela Garofalo was indeed spending some quality time with her daughter Annachiara in Marechiaro, one of their places of the heart which is located in the Neapolitan area of Posillipo, when she had the brilliant idea of launching her own 100 % Italian high jewelry brand together. Involving Annachiara in a new exciting female entrepreneurial project and promising mother-daughter business, seemed to her the best decision ever to make. It indeed was the perfect timing to start this new journey and establish her young Maison called Lucedeimieiocchi (which means 'Light of my life' in english), just like she affectionately used to call her baby girl since she was born. A new proud ambassador of prestigious 'Made in Italy', whose main purpose is to daily celebrate and promote the one-of-a-kind Italian culture and its artisanal excellencies. As the founder, creative director and soul of the brand, Daniela, who has been passionate about jewels since ever, is taking care of the creativity and supervises the whole production, Annachiara is in charge of the brand image and the shootings. She has also been the testimonial of some commercial campaigns. The female duo has started small to grow slowly but surely with a mini collection designed by Daniela and localy produced by her family's goldsmiths and revealed and promoted on a IG's account first. Three beautiful tributes to Capri and the roots of Daniela's family: 'I Faraglioni di Capri', 'il castello dell'Ovo' and, il 'Maschio Angioino'. Being a passionate, ambitious and tenacious woman and mother of two children (she also has a son), who doesn't give up easily, has helped a lot from the beginning. Daniela has indeed quickly understood how to run the business and how to move on this difficult and competitive market. And, as sometimes you have to make things happen by yourself, in 2021, she fiercely reached out to the Italian organizers of Vicenzaoro, which is the largest show in Europe for the gold and jewellery industry and definitely the place-to-be. Even though her brand was very young at that time, it already had a strong and unique identity and stands resolutely out of the crowd. She was right and Lucedeimieiocchi attended the show as an exhibitor a few months later. Since then, the brand has been participating at the not-to-be-missed rendez-vous every year and is earning a growing and well-deserved International success. Lucedeimieiocchi is a promising 100 % Italian (from design to packaging) niche brand, which puts premium quality, craftsmanship, Culture, heritage and emotion first. Perfectionist, Daniela only works with the best Italian experienced artisans in the country: the ones for gold 18 K in Naples and the ones for silver 925 in Vicenza. She wants the best for her clientèle. She designs sophisticated, feminine and extravagant jewels-to-wear for women with a strong personality like her. She never follows trends because she simply designs what she personally loves to wear in her everyday life, especially earrings. She finds inspiration in her travels abroad (ex: she recently visited the Seychelles), in History, Architecture, in cities she paid tribute to ('Milano' with 'Cinquecento', Florence with 'Divinamente' and Roma with 'Ave'), in movies (Last collection Miranda was inspired by character Miranda Priestly from 'The devil wears Prada'), in her personal life (Necklace Charlotte is a tribute to her sweety dog). Behind every jewel, there is a lot of research and, above all, a beautiful story. The collections of the Capri-based Maison are now available at the most famous Italian jewelry stores and on the corporate website. As she is always open to creative partnerships, Daniela has recently created on demand a customized version of a bracelet of her beloved Athena's collection for a famous Palermitan jewelry store. The brand, which is now looking to establish itself abroad, will present its new creations during the Paris Fashion week (From 25th September to 3th October). The dream of Daniela is to meet soon on the street women wearing her creations. She then would be the happiest and proudest woman in the whole world. Fingers crossed.
